What are the deadlines for early reservation?

Group transfers must be booked online by 6 p.m. on the day before your journey. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee reservations made after this time.

Individual transfers can also be booked at shorter notice at 0676-84499933.

Where at Klagenfurt airport do I meet your driver?

Our drivers always wait in the waiting room at the airport or train station holding a sign with your name on it.

What is the waiting-time at the airport during transfer?

With our group transfers, it may happen that we serve a number of flights with the same transfer. This may result in waiting times at the airport that, however, 

  • only occur very rarely, and
  • are restricted to max. 90 min.

Should you not wish to accept these waiting times, you have the option of booking a single transfer - in this case, the vehicle will be used by you only and will leave immediately after your arrival.

Which route is selected?

Please note that for our group transfers, it will not be possible to select the shortest route to your holiday destination in all cases. Further drop-offs and pick-ups along the route may lead to a somewhat extended journey time. The optimal journey to your holiday destination may occasionally involve one change en route. No additional waiting periods or delays shall result from this.

If you wish to be certain that you will take the fastest, most direct route, you have the option of booking a single transfer. In such a case, a vehicle will be used by you only and will take the most direct route between the airport and your accommodation.

How much driving time can I expect?

The journey time listed for group transfers is approximate. Journey time for departure transfers is calculated so that you arrive at Klagenfurt Airport approx. 90 minutes prior to departure, assuming normal traffic and road conditions (= in 99% of cases) – early enough to allow sufficient time for check-in. In Klagenfurt, the check-in counter closes 30 minutes prior to departure and only very short distances need be covered within the airport.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Should your flight arrive late, we guarantee that, in the event of group transfers, our driver will wait a max. 60 minutes for you at the airport. Should your flight arrive later than this, we reserve the right to re-book you on a later transfer the same day.

Single transfers and the last group transfer of the day will wait for you regardless. Please enter your mobile phone number on our reservation form so that, in such an event, you can help us to optimize the organization of transfers and keep you informed of the latest developments.

What type of cars do you use?

Depending on the number of passengers booked, you will be met at the airport by a car or minibus. Naturally our vehicles are equipped for winter. For summer transfers they naturally have air-conditioning.

What about fares?

You will see the payable fare on your booking confirmation - this must always be paid to our driver in cash.

If you have ordered a transfer through your hotel or travel agent, you will have the option of billing being handled by these organizations. Our drivers have at their disposal payment information as given during the booking process.

What about children ?

Children under the age 2 are transported free of charge, but are not entitled to their own seat. With group transfers, children between the ages of 3 and 11.99 pay 50% of the fare. The full fare applies from the age of 12 years.

On request, we can also bring a child seat (EUR 7.50) - this must be ordered separatelyat info@kaerntenshuttle.com, as only a limited number of child seats are available.

What about animals ?

Unfortunately, the transport of animals is not possible with group transfers. It is not, however, a problem with single transfers.

What do I do if I forget or lose my luggage ?

If your luggage does not arrive with your flight, please contact the Lost & Found counter in the arrivals area of ​​the airport. The airport will take care of the delivery of your luggage to your accommodation as soon as it arrives on the next flight. If you forget or lose anything in one of our vehicles, please write to us at info@kaerntenshuttle.com with details of the lost / forgotten item as well as the date, time and route of your trip.

Do I need to provide details of my luggage?

Please declare when booking whether you will arrive with a small, large or very large amount of luggage so that we can provide a suitable vehicle - In principle, we assume that you will arrive with max. 20 kg (2 items of luggage per person).

When should I book return transfers ?

It is most convenient for both you and us if, when booking arrival and departure transfers at the same time, that you have your ticket at hand and save yourself having to make another booking on the spot. Once booked, the company regards the reservation as fixed and there is no need for you to reconfirm. If you do not yet know when you will fly back home, you will naturally have the option of booking your arrival and departure transfers separately. If you change your return flight and have already booked your transfer, you have two options:

  • change your booking online
  • e-mail us with your amended flight details at info@kaerntenshuttle.comand we will make the appropriate change.

In both cases you will need your booking number, which is stated on your booking confirmation.
